Overview
We are currently hiring for two positions in our Syracuse office.
Are you passionate about giving students the tools they need to make their college dreams a reality? Want to shape our region's future workforce? Through a high-touch, proactive approach, On Point provides students from backgrounds that are under-represented in higher education with the support they need to succeed. You will provide comprehensive guidance to students as they prepare for post-secondary education and career pathways.

Responsibilities
- Counsel a caseload of high school juniors and seniors through the selection, application, and admissions process for colleges, universities, and other post-secondary training.
- Provide advice and assistance with financial aid and related applications.
- Conduct one-on-one college counseling sessions to help students explore college options.
- Work with students to align their academic plans with their future goals.
- Keep detailed records of student progress for grant reporting and continuous improvement of services.
- Collect and use data to inform decisions about college matriculation and other trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of work experience in an academic setting preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed or requested.
